What PermitGrid provides
PermitGrid organises customer-supplied facts, evidence, forms and open points into a Connection Pack for the agreed route. “Submission-ready” means the agreed pack has passed PermitGrid's evidence and named-reviewer checks; it does not mean approval by a DNO, council or other authority.
48-hour delivery target
Our target is to deliver the agreed submission-ready pack within 48 hours after all mandatory evidence is accepted as complete, cleared payment is received and reviewer capacity is confirmed in writing. The clock pauses if information changes, evidence is missing or unclear, third-party input is required, or the customer requests a change. Any different timing is stated before payment.
What PermitGrid does not provide
The service is not legal advice, DNO or planning approval, electrical design certification, installation work or a guarantee of acceptance. PermitGrid does not submit an application unless a separate written service explicitly says so. A qualified installer/engineer must verify technical facts and the correct current network route before submission.
Customer responsibilities
You confirm that you are authorised to share the information, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you will not rely on a draft as technical approval. You remain responsible for design, safety, permissions, DNO communication and the final submission.
Fees, changes and cancellation
No payment is taken by the intake form. A written scope and fee must be accepted before work begins. Extra work caused by missing or changed information requires approval. Any cancellation/refund position will be stated in the accepted quote and applicable law continues to apply.
Liability
Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, the managed beta is provided with reasonable care and skill; PermitGrid is not responsible for decisions by DNOs, authorities, installers or other third parties, or for errors caused by inaccurate or incomplete customer information.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
